Hey Everyone!! I had an awesome turn around trip to Vegas a few weeks back and really wanted to share my little story, hehe.
Two friends and I went to go see Believe last month and I was soooo excited. I got the cheapie tickets because my friends aren't loyals and I didn't want them to have to pay so much for letting me drag them with me. We get into the theater and it turned out our seats were in the VERY LAST ROW OF THE BALCONY!!! We were right next to the sound or lighting booth (whatever it is back there)AHHHHHH!!! My first thought is, "how in the world am I gonna see my sexy man from up here?!" and then I immediately started to pout. My friends asked me what was wrong and I just pouted lol. I drove all the way out for a less than 24 hr Vegas trip and I wanted to see HIM and not just watch him on the monitor..... I know, spoiled bratty reaction right? Maybe I was just overly tired from the driving.
Anyway, one of my friends gets up to use the restroom and what seemed like 20 or more minutes later (I seriously thought she fell in the toilet or something) she came back with a huge smile on her face for me. I said, what happened? She turns to me and hands me a ticket and says "here ya go." Confused I ask her, "You want me to hold it for you or something?" and she says "No, look at it. I told the worker at the box office you were a hard-core loyal, about our short trip and your pouty face and he gave me this for you"
I look down at the ticket and see cross off marks with a sharpie and a new seat. After thanking her and getting all teary eyed, I walk over to the usher to locate my new seat. She points me to the usher located on the orchestra level. In shock, I continue making my way down towards the front of the theater and am told my seat is 6 rows from the stage, center! I started to cry out of happiness... I thought "I'll definitely get to really see Criss from here." I sit anxiously waiting for the show to start and begin to think its odd how all the seats to the right of me are empty... until 5 minutes before the show I see Dimitra, DJ and other family members walking out from backstage and start walking towards me down my row.... OH CRAP!! I'm thinking. Dimitra sits directly beside me and I turn to her open mouthed and say "OH MY GOD!! You're Criss' MOM!!" and smiles and laughs a bit and says "Hello Dear, nice to meet you"....Sitting on the edge of my seat I couldnt believe it!
The show begins and Criss supposedly gets electricuted. I immediately turn to her and say "oh my gosh! Is he okay?! I'm gonna cry!!!" She pats me on the arm and says "Don't worry honey, its all apart of the show, if it were real, I wouldn't still be sitting here!" I smile, comforted and ask her, "How many times have you seen the show?" and she just playfully rolls her eyes and laughs. At one point in the beginning of the show Criss starts to run through the audience saying hi and greeting everyone.... he runs through the row behind ours, tapping each of his family members on the head and then me, excited I grabbed his shirt and said "Criss I LOVE YOU" and he smiles and blows me a kiss then continues to run through the audience... hehe... I was so happy!!
The show was amazing... kinda wish it was more illusion and less dancing but I guess thats the Cirque combo shrugs I probably would have creamed in my panties from being so close to stage watching his sexiness and talent but felt odd with his mother sitting next to me hehe. I really wanted to get her to sign my program but the entire family ran away before the show curtain went down. It's probably a good thing she got away... I woulda begged her to try to get Criss t sign my book as well, lol. Oh well, Maybe next time =o) Gonna try to go to the Meet & Greet in Big Bear... only an hour away! Woo-Hoo!!

I wish I could just wave my magic wand and make people look fabulous instead doing all the hard stuff, lol!!
Anyway, I'm 24 and confused as all hell... I think I'm stuck in that weird transition between teenager and adult, if that makes any sense... Is there anyway of transitioning to independence gracefully?? I still feel like a teenager, but yet I'm suppose to find independence as well as what I wanna do for the rest of my life?! It's maddening I tell you, MADDENING!!! Other than that I'm not your average girl, but again, define "average"? I think each person is unique in their own way and that's what makes each of us special. I guess the hard part is sometimes learning to love yourself before you can figure out what you truly want out of life. I guess I'm just you're average, ordinary, sane, psycho, lol.
